This function is for registering your frequently used logos and imaging data into your printer.
It is often useful in terms of deployment and print speed. We will name this kind of imaging data as 'Logo data' in this Help hereafter.
When you open Logo Store, a connection is established to the printer in accordance with the communication settings displayed in ‘Current Connection’ of the Printer Utility, and when the connection is successfully established, the registered logo information read from the printer is displayed in the display area of ‘Printer Logo Memory’.
Select the logo data you want to add by clicking the 'Add' button and then click 'Open' to add the logo data to the logo list created on the PC. At this time, specify the Key Code that functions as the logo data management ID in the printer memory. Use the Key Code that you registered here for storing logo data on the printer or printing out logo data. When you print a logo from the Windows printer driver or OPOS driver, Key Code ‘01’ at the time of logo registration corresponds to the specification value ‘1’ of each driver, and you can specify a logo from 1 to 99 with the Windows printer driver and from 1 to 20 with the OPOS driver. To change the Key Code of the logo data that you added to the logo list, double-click the logo data.
Directly click the stored logos in the Printer Logo Images list, you can preview it in the upper right window. You can edit and test print it when necessary. To remove the stored logo from the Printer Logo Images list, simply choose the one you do not want and click the 'Delete' button.
The size that can be registered is shown in the center of the screen. When you register by overwriting, the size shown is smaller than the actual size. If you remove the Key Code to be overwritten from the printer in advance, the correct size that can be registered will be displayed.
To edit the Logo data, choose it from the Printer Logo Images list and click the 'Edit' button. The Logo Editor will open.
By sliding the size controller back and forth, you can change your logo's size.
The maximum logo size that you can select is the printer maximum printable size.
To view the result, just click the 'Test Print' button.

There are two different methods available to convert the image; the 'Floyd - Steinberg' method or the 'No Dithering' method.
In general, the 'Floyd - Steinberg' method usually performs better
than the 'No Dithering' method when you're working with real photos or other colorful images,
the 'No Dithering' method is often best when working with icons and graphics.
You can preview them before you choose the most appropriate one.
When you click the 'Test Print' button, you can also confirm your editing result.
This function offers you the ability to print the logo data during editing.
You can get a print out of the actual image through this function.
This function allows you to revert back to the saved image with default settings.
This function allows you to save your edited Logo data onto your PC's drive.
When you register the logo in your printer, perform CRC (cyclic redundancy check) on the source of the logo data and the registered logo data to improve the reliability of the registered logo data.
The Key Code and size of the logo data registered in your printer are displayed in the Printer Logo Memory list.
You can export the logo list to use the logo data that you have set up again later or to apply the same settings to another printer. By exporting the logo list as a configuration file when you register in your printer, you will be able to reproduce and reuse the logo list when you add or revise the contents stored in your printer.
Click the 'Export' button to display the 'Save As' window. You can specify a file name and save the contents of the logo list as a Star Logo Backup File (*.set).
Click the 'Import' button to display the 'Open' window. You can select a file that you exported as a configuration file. If you select a file to import and click the 'Open' button, the contents of the import file will be displayed in the configuration screen. When you register the logo data with that setting, click the 'Store Logos' button to register the data to the printer.
A configuration file that was exported with the old style Logo Store function can be imported from the old style Logo Store screen. The old style Logo Store screen can be displayed by adding a check to ‘Use old style "Logo Store" function’ in the Tool menu of the printer utility function list screen and then starting Logo Store.
To print out a logo, select the Key Code of the logo data you want to print out from the registered logo list of the printer and click the 'Test Print' button.
This function offers you the ability to individually delete logos currently stored in your printer. Select the Key Code of the logo data you want to delete from the printer's registered logo list and click the 'Delete' button.
To print out all the logo data stored in the printer, click the 'Test Print All' button.
To clear all the stored logos from your printer's memory, click the 'Clear All' button.
